Hogwarts: Oops, I'm Voldemort

Chapter 80 The Second Dumbledore

Cyrus greedily breathed in the humid air in the secret room.

To be honest, the smell here is not so pleasant, the air smells like it has been rotting for a thousand years. But for Cyrus now, this is the smell of life itself!

He "enjoyed" it for almost a minute, during which he did nothing, not even conjured up a suitable piece of clothing for himself. But soon, he woke up from his intoxication.

A journey of a hundred miles begins with a single step, and now is not the time to celebrate.

He conjured up a piece of clothing for himself, exactly the same as what Riddle wore fifty years ago in his memory, and then took out the Marauder's Map from Ginny's pocket.

On the map, the name Minerva McGonagall walked to the door of the bathroom, and then after a brief stay, left in a hurry.

Cyrus imagined that the stern female teacher showed a panic expression after seeing the words on the wall, and hurriedly and helplessly spread the news to all professors and students, and then prepared to close the school.

Maybe she would try to contact Dumbledore?

But no matter what, Dumbledore's name has not appeared in the castle yet.

When Cyrus thought of Dumbledore, he had a bad feeling in his heart. The old man put too much pressure on him, and Cyrus was always worried that something unexpected would happen.

Fortunately, the Marauder's Map would not be wrong.

"I remember that in the original book, Dumbledore returned to the castle during the time when Harry went to the Chamber of Secrets. Maybe I still have time to get the invisibility cloak."

The power of the Death's Invisibility Cloak seems to be a little worse than the other two Deathly Hallows, but it is still a treasure. What Cyrus cares more about is the legend-those who possess three Deathly Hallows are equivalent to controlling death.

The only person who possesses these three treasures at the same time in the original book is Harry Potter, and in fact, he did come back to life and returned to reality from the King's Cross Station of the soul.

What if I also collected three Deathly Hallows?

So coincidentally, Cyrus knew the location of these three Hallows and how to obtain them.

Without much hesitation, he turned around and spoke to the statue of Slytherin in Parseltongue: "Speak to me, Slytherin - the greatest of the four giants of Hogwarts."

Slytherin's huge stone face moved, its mouth opened, and finally formed a huge black hole.

Something moved in the mouth of the statue. Something slid up from the depths of the statue.

A huge basilisk, green all over, with the bright light unique to venomous snakes, and its body was as thick as the trunk of an oak tree. It stretched its upper body high into the air, and its flat head was randomly intertwined between the stone pillars, like a drunk.

Finally, the basilisk slowly swam in front of Cyrus, waiting for his order.

"You are a little too big, it's better to be smaller." Cyrus pressed his wand against the body of the basilisk and cast a superb shrinking spell. The huge basilisk immediately turned into a small snake as thick as a finger under his magic, and then it followed his arm and hid in Cyrus' sleeve.

Then, Cyrus left the secret room. While walking in the corridor, Magna's voice, which was amplified many times by magic, began to echo in the castle:

"All students should return to their respective college dormitories immediately. All teachers should return to the staff lounge. Please act immediately."

The students squeezed out in a bustling crowd, and Cyrus disappeared in the crowd at once, and followed everyone to the tower on the corner of the eighth floor. The students were panicked and uneasy.

"Fred, George, do you know what happened?" Lee pushed aside the crowd, and he was like being swept forward by the waves.

"What else could it be?" The twins shook their shoulders at the same time.

Cyrus followed them into the Gryffindor tower, and Percy and a female prefect began to count the number of people, mainly the number of girls. But the more he counted, the paler his face became.

Ginny was gone.

Cyrus walked into the men's dormitory with ease, found Harry Potter's bed, and quickly got the invisibility cloak. It was so easy that it seemed a bit dreamy. He immediately put on the invisibility cloak and left the tower.

The sky began to darken. Cyrus passed by the mirror on the fifth floor, passed through the statue of the one-eyed witch on the fourth floor, walked out of the castle gate, and picked a few leaves of mandrake when passing by the greenhouse. Finally, he came to the Whomping Willow.

From here, you can see the castle and the Black Lake. The castle seems to be glowing under the golden sunset.

However, the fire will soon dim and disappear, and everything will be shrouded in darkness.

Cyrus slowly walked to the front of the Whomping Willow and touched its scar with his wand before the Whomping Willow found him. The irritable willow tree immediately quieted down.

In this way, Cyrus put on the invisibility cloak, leaned against the tree trunk, and looked down at the traces of coming and going on the Marauder's Map with the last remaining fire in the evening.

He saw the teachers separate in the staff room, each going to their own office or college. Professor McGonagall took the three Weasleys to her office in the Gryffindor common room. The headmaster's office was still empty, and Dumbledore's name had not appeared anywhere.

Dumbledore had not returned yet, but Harry and Ron were already on the move.

They found Lockhart, and the three of them stayed in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom for a long time. Finally, Lockhart was forced to follow them to the bathroom.

Then, their traces disappeared on the Marauder's Map.

Almost half an hour later, Dumbledore's name appeared in Professor McGonagall's office along with Molly Weasley and Arthur Weasley.

Cyrus stood up suddenly, breathing a little quickly.

Dumbledore showed up, just like in the original book, he appeared in the school, and the Whomping Willow was the farthest escape route from him. Hogwarts cannot use Apparition, and Fawkes will be sent by him to help Harry. When Dumbledore found something wrong and came back, Cyrus had already escaped.

"It's time to leave! Goodbye, Dumbledore--"

The sun had completely set.

The dark blue sky was shining with a few not-so-bright stars. Cyrus grabbed the tree trunk with one hand and jumped lightly into the hidden cave under the willow.

He walked for a long time, and the tunnel began to tilt upwards. After a while, a little light shone in after turning a corner, and he immediately knew that he was about to reach the exit.

This was a messy, gray room. The wallpaper was peeling, the floor was stained, the furniture was all broken, as if someone had smashed it, and the windows were sealed with wooden boards.

The Shrieking Shack, the transformation place specially prepared for Lupin at Hogwarts, has been considered a terrifying haunted house by wizards for more than ten years, and in theory it is the safest place. But it doesn't seem to be the case tonight--

Cyrus, under the invisibility cloak, was pale, and looked at the white-bearded old man standing by the window with his back to the moonlight in horror.

It's Dumbledore!

'But how could Dumbledore appear here? '

Cyrus hurriedly lowered his head and looked at the Marauder's Map again. On the map, in Professor McGonagall's office, Dumbledore's name was still glaring!

Dumbledore, two?
