Hogwarts: Oops, I'm Voldemort

Chapter 100 Whereabouts Exposed

After Harry had endured the Leaky Cauldron for almost half a month, he finally waited until the day before school started.

But just when he thought he would have to wait until tomorrow to see Ron and Hermione, he saw Ron and Hermione in Florin Fusco's ice cream shop.

"Harry! I finally see you! Harry, we went to the Leaky Cauldron to find you, but Tom-the boss said you had left." Ron shouted happily.

He probably didn't want to mention the name "Tom" and changed his words abruptly, but this didn't affect Ron's mood. He put his arm around Harry's shoulders and said excitedly: "I heard that you blew up your aunt during the summer vacation?"

"Don't mention it, and I didn't mean to, I just can't control it sometimes." Harry got angry when he said it. If it weren't for Aunt Marge, Uncle Dursley would not be unwilling to sign his application.

And Harry almost thought he was going to be expelled from school.

"That's the problem, why don't they expel you?" Hermione was very puzzled.

"I wonder too."

"Come on Hermione, you sound like you want Harry to be expelled." Ron rolled his eyes and said with a smile, "Maybe it's because you are the famous Harry Potter. I don't dare to think about how the Ministry of Magic will deal with me if I blow up an aunt. But at least they have to dig me out of the ground first, because my mother must have killed me!

"Well, you can ask my dad tonight. We plan to stay at the Leaky Cauldron today, so we can go to King's Cross Station together tomorrow." Ron said, and took another quick bite of ice cream.

Harry grinned. He wanted to talk to Ron and Hermione about Mr. Sellers' letter, but this was obviously not the right place.

"Let's eat quickly. I have something to tell you." Harry said hurriedly.

"It just so happens that we also want to talk to you about Riddle. "Ron lowered his voice.

The three of them quickly finished their ice cream, and then walked towards the Leaky Cauldron with a guilty conscience. After all, "Mr. Riddle" is still a wanted criminal of the Ministry of Magic, and their attitude seems to be to protect him.

"Wrong! You are the one who intends to protect him!" Ron closed the door forcefully, turned his head and said firmly.

"Don't be like this, Ron, you know Mr. Riddle is not a bad person." Hermione used a begging tone.

Ron shrugged and leaned back in the chair: "I don't think so."

"The fact is, he didn't hurt any of us!" Hermione turned to look at Harry angrily, "Harry, you should also know about Mr. Riddle's escape from prison, right? Now the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic are searching for him everywhere, he must be in danger. I don't know how we can help him."

She sighed: "Ginny is also very worried."

"Dad and Mom are more worried, they are always afraid that Ginny will go to Riddle in a fit of anger. "Ron said, "But, do you think Riddle is really the mysterious man? I always feel that Professor Dumbledore made a mistake."

"Speaking of this..." Harry finally had a chance to speak, "In fact, I received a letter from Mr. Riddle, no, Mr. Sellers on my birthday."

"What, he actually wrote to you?" Ron and Hermione shouted at the same time, but they expressed completely different meanings.

Ron: He actually dared to write to you, he wants to die?

Hermione: He actually wrote to you, why didn't he write to me?

"Where's the letter?" The two said at the same time.

"After I read the letter, it burned itself, leaving only this." Harry took out the Quidditch star's animated greeting card that he had left behind, which caused Ron to scream again.

"It's Krum!"

He held the greeting card in both hands like a pilgrim, his eyes seemed to be about to fall out: "I was wrong, he is a great man!"

In contrast, Hermione's attention was on the text on the back of the greeting card.

"Expecto Patronus? Is this a spell?"

"He said I might need it this semester, so he told me to learn it early." Harry said with a red face.

He naturally didn't have a chance to practice during the summer vacation at the Dursleys' house, but after coming to the Leaky Cauldron, he focused all his attention on the new flying broomsticks this year.

"This spell seems to be the Patronus Charm." After recalling so many books she had read, Hermione finally found the relevant content, "This is not a spell that little wizards of our age can learn at all."

"Really? But I think Mr. Sellers thinks I can learn it, otherwise he wouldn't have written it on the greeting card." Harry said a little proudly.

This look of success made Hermione couldn't help but give him two punches!

"Be careful or I'll beat you up!"

"Didn't you beat me up?" Harry covered his nose and screamed.

"But the Patronus Charm is used to deal with the Soul Eater. What does Mr. Sellers mean? Does he think you need to deal with the Soul Eater? "Hermione asked curiously.

"How should I know, he always has many secrets." Harry said, "By the way, what is a Soul Eater?"

"It's the guard of Azkaban." Ron shuddered. This is a strange thing. Harry rarely saw Ron feel scared when he heard anything other than the word Voldemort or spider.

"If you want to know how terrible they are, ask Hagrid. He stayed there for a few months last year. All the happiness was gone when he came back."

"I thought he was just sad because Aragog and the other Acromantulas died." Harry said.

He skipped this topic and continued to talk about other things in the letter. Unexpectedly, neither Ron nor Hermione objected to Harry keeping these things secret and not telling Dumbledore.

Ron explained intermittently: "I think he is really different, right? He also gave you a card! But I didn't expect him to leave a backup plan. I guess he may have expected to meet Dumbledore."

They didn't discuss for long because Mrs. Weasley came back from outside with Ginny. Ron remembered that he had to go to get some medicine for Scabbers, and Hermione also planned to buy an owl. Harry wanted to go with them, but was taken aside by Mr. Weasley.

"Harry, come here Harry."

Arthur Weasley is a middle-aged man with a slightly bald head, but his family is very kind. Harry spent some time at the Weasley family last summer vacation, which was a rare happy time for him.

"Hello, Mr. Weasley."

"Harry," Mr. Weasley put his hand on Harry's shoulder and took him to his room, "Molly may not want me to tell you, but I still want to tell you, maybe you already know-"

"You mean, about Mr. Sellers? I know he has escaped from prison." Harry struggled with what expression he should show. But Arthur Weasley shook his head.

"No, no, and the mysterious man-well, maybe he is not the mysterious man, but he has little to do with him." Arthur finally changed his words and continued, "I want to talk about Sirius Black. Although Fudge insisted that they were in the same group, we actually did not find any connection between their escapes. Black escaped almost half a month earlier than Riddle."

Harry listened blankly to him talking about things related to Sirius Black, but he didn't understand what this person had to do with him.

"Sirius Black is one of the most brutal Death Eaters under You-Know-Who. He once blew up an entire street with a spell, killing more than a dozen Muggles." Arthur said seriously, "And his purpose must be to kill you for his 'master'!"

Harry's face changed, but he was not very scared.

"Harry, I want you to promise me--"

"--promise to be a good boy and not leave the castle?" Harry said gloomily. But in the end, he couldn't leave the castle. There was no name on the application to go to Hogsmeade.

"Not exactly." Mr. Weasley said. Harry had never seen him so serious. "Harry, you promise me that you will never go to Black."

"What?" Harry looked at him in astonishment, as if he didn't understand what Mr. Weasley meant.

"But why would I want to find someone who wants to kill me?" he said absurdly, "You might as well persuade me not to find Mr. Cyrus."

"Dumbledore believes that Tom Riddle will not return to Hogwarts in the short term. And his target does not seem to be you, otherwise he would have had many opportunities to kill you last year." Arthur Weasley said, "But Sirius Black is different. You must promise me, Harry!"

Arthur Weasley was very serious, even a little aggressive.

Harry always felt that something was a bit strange, but the only thing he knew was that the Weasley family was the best of the best, and they would never want to see themselves hurt. So he had to nod in agreement and swear that he would never take the initiative to find Sirius Black.

"Now I finally know why Mr. Cyrus said I would have new troubles." Harry sighed.

In the evening, Ron and Hermione came back.

The two of them seemed a little unhappy, and Harry soon understood why.

Hermione was holding an ugly orange cat in her arms, and the cat seemed to be very interested in Ron's mouse, Scabbers.

Harry told them what Mr. Weasley had asked him to promise, and Ginny also got involved, but they didn't understand why. Instead, during dinner, another piece of news made them uneasy.

Arthur Weasley put down the letter, first glanced at Ginny, then extended his gaze to Harry, Ron and Hermione, and slowly said:

"The letter from the Ministry said that they found Tom Riddle's traces, and it seems that he appeared in Little Hangletonshire not long ago."
