Chapter 8 The First Possession
Time passed peacefully, and during this time, almost nothing happened in Hogwarts - except for the troubles caused by Lockhart in class.
Now Ginny almost understood why Mr. Riddle despised Lockhart's works so much.
"He is a fool!"
Ron had said this more than once during dinner, but each time it would cause Hermione's dissatisfaction. Hermione was almost a die-hard fan of Lockhart. Even after seeing him make trouble several times, she still believed in the fake Lockhart in the book.
During this time, Ginny became more and more dependent on "Mr. Riddle" and trusted him more and more. She shared almost everything with Cyrus, her happiness, worries, troubles and fears. She almost opened her whole soul to Cyrus, and Cyrus was also greedily devouring her secrets and fears.
Now -
"Ginny" raised her eyes, and her expression was completely different from usual.
Or it would be more appropriate to call her Cyrus now.
This was the first time Cyrus had tried to seize control of Ginny's body in the first few weeks of school. He was very cautious and would give up if there was anything wrong. But in fact, it was smoother than he thought.
Cyrus stuffed the meat pie into his mouth and drank a big sip of pumpkin juice. Although it was not his own body, he could feel everything that this body could feel now. The long-lost food made him very happy. He planned to go around after breakfast.
"Colin Creevey?" He turned his head and looked at a very thin boy with gray hair next to the dining table.
"What's wrong, Miss Weasley?" Colin Creevey turned his head in surprise. He hadn't talked to this very cute classmate since the start of school.
"Please ask for leave for me. I'm a little unwell."
"But I think you look fine... OK." Colin Creevey stared blankly at Cyrus' back, because Cyrus had already strode away before he finished speaking.
Cyrus first wandered around the school and then walked towards the Forbidden Forest. He needed to find out where the school's roosters were kept first, and then prepare an opportunity to kill them all.
Passing by the playground, Cyrus gradually moved away from the castle and stepped onto a path. On the path, he could see a vast forest from afar. The Forbidden Forest covers at least several hills, and at the edge of the Forbidden Forest, there is a small wooden house.
Cyrus approached step by step and saw Hagrid bending over in the field. The pumpkins in the field were almost taller than Ginny.
"Hey!" Hagrid noticed him and immediately stood up and shouted, "Little wizard, go back quickly! The Forbidden Forest is not a place for you to come!"
"Hello, Hagrid. I'm not going in, just walking around." Cyrus did not stop, but slowly walked to Hagrid's pumpkin field, "What a big pumpkin, did you use the expansion spell?"
"Ah, it's you, the little girl from the Weasley family." Hagrid also recognized Ginny this time, and his attitude immediately became kind, but at the same time he became more vigilant. Because of Fred and George, the two troublemakers, Hagrid now has a psychological shadow on the Weasley family. "It's just a little help. By Halloween, they will be bigger. Do you want to come in and sit?"
"No, I'll just walk around." Cyrus didn't plan to eat Hagrid's dark dishes and immediately refused. "Don't worry, I won't go into the Forbidden Forest. I know it's dangerous there."
"That's good. You are much more obedient than your two brothers." Hagrid was very happy that he didn't have to deal with more troublemakers.
Cyrus walked around the edge of the Forbidden Forest and soon found the rooster that was kept in a pen. At the same time, he could feel Hagrid's eyes looking at him from time to time, for fear that he would suddenly dive into the Forbidden Forest.
Cyrus, who had no chance to do anything, had to walk back slowly.
"The air here is really good. I'll go back first, Hagrid. I'll come to visit you next time."
"Of course!" Hagrid said reluctantly.
He always loves his family and his people. The Weasleys have a good relationship with him, and they are also very friendly to Harry. Therefore, he is also very friendly to Ginny. This small house next to the forbidden forest seems a bit lonely at ordinary times.
Even Harry and his friends don't come here often.
When Cyrus returned to the castle, the class had probably started, and there was no one in the corridor. But just in case, he picked up Ginny's wand and cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself.
Ginny's wand is made of yew wood, just like Voldemort's wand. Cyrus was surprised to find that this wand was quite suitable for him. Yew wood symbolizes death and rebirth, which is indeed very suitable for him now.
The only pity is that Ginny's magic power is a little too weak, so the Disillusionment Charm she cast is not as good as he imagined. When he is still, he can't see anything, but as long as he moves, he can find that there is still a circle of shallow outlines around his body, like a layer of raised glass.
But as long as he is careful, it should be enough.
Cyrus walked cautiously towards the girls' bathroom on the third floor.
At this moment, Filch's sharp voice came to his ears.
"What's the matter? What did you find?" Filch shouted excitedly, "A student who skipped class?"
Cyrus saw Filch staggering behind the thin cat, excitement written all over his face.
Mrs. Norris probably smelled the scent of Cyrus, and walked towards where Cyrus stayed with her head lowered. It got closer and closer, probably because the smell here was stronger, so the pace slowed down.
Mrs. Norris raised her head with doubtful eyes and looked towards the corner with doubtful eyes.
Filch also looked over immediately.
"Nothing!" He cursed in a low voice and said viciously, "He must be hiding! Cast a spell and the crime will be increased!"
After patrolling Hogwarts for so many years, he certainly knew that there were some spells that could hide a person's appearance. Situations like this had happened more than once. At first, Filch thought there was something wrong with Mrs. Norris, but it wasn't until a student's half-baked Disguise spell suddenly failed that he understood what was going on.
So he immediately reached out and groped around here, looking like a blind man with normal eyes.
Although this action is funny, it is indeed effective, especially when Cyrus's spell is not perfect and will break if he moves. Continue like this
Seeing this, Cyrus had no choice but to take a risk, raised the wand as little as possible, and pointed the tip of the wand at Mrs. Norris:
Confuse the public!
Mrs. Norris screamed, and all the hair on her body stood on end, startling Filch.
Before Filch could say anything, he rushed out quickly, as if he had found some other clue. Filch immediately limped after him.
Cyrus breathed a sigh of relief and continued walking towards the third floor.
Darlings, please don’t keep reading, even if it’s just to the last page of the book, it’s really important to follow up on reading, thank you dears.
