Just like when I started writing a few years ago, I started when I started and ended when I finished. It was very hard in the middle, but the sadness in my heart is not something that can be told to outsiders.

It's not that I haven't thought about giving up, especially when I stopped writing for a whole year (my father-in-law had a heart valve replacement surgery), but fortunately I persisted and came to this day.

In any case, finishing the book is a victory - at least for me!

Actually, what I want to say today is: the new book "Take Taobao to Cultivate the True Self" has been uploaded!

So, this is not only a gratitude for finishing the book, but also a self-criticism and a new book advertisement.

To be honest, I have been reflecting on it for such a long time. "Cultivating the Heart Record" has many problems, and the biggest problem is the rhythm!

Especially in the early and middle stages, this problem is more obvious. When I realized this problem, I had already started the "East China Sea" volume, and it was difficult to turn back.

So when I start a new book, I will write a paragraph three lines below the cursor: compact, compact, as compact as possible...

When the new book reached 60,000 words, I showed the proof to my editor, Mr. Shanmao, and he said it was okay, and we could prepare for the contract when "Xuan Xin Lu" was almost finished. But while writing the ending of "Xuan Xin Lu", I was also repeatedly pondering the structure and rhythm of the new book, and finally overturned almost all of the 60,000 words and rewrote it into 40,000 words.

Mr. Shanmao said that this version is more compact than the previous one, and I was very happy.

Others who write online articles want to say that they want to write 3 million or 5 million words.

But I have to do the opposite and promise my editor: I won't exceed so many words!

If you are not careful, you can open a copy and it will be hundreds of thousands of words.

Therefore, the new book has a detailed outline, sub-outline, general outline, and sub-outline...

These outlines are not to constrain the new book, but to constrain myself.

Another problem with "The Record of Cultivating the Heart" is that many friends complain that the cultivation system is too old. No problem, let's change it. In fact, the cultivation system is just a copy and paste.

There will be more than one cultivation system in the new book, and there will even be more than one civilization collision in time and space. The protagonist can shuttle back and forth between two different cultivation worlds.

Relatives, friends, family, sects, Nanyue and even the whole world are all on Xiao Mian's shoulders.

Although he is very powerful, he is not free. He is in the world and cannot decide for himself!

This is actually contrary to the original intention of cultivation. Therefore, when I read my book, there will be a strong smell of commercialism, only dust, but no fairy spirit.

I don’t know if I can write fairy spirit in this life. It is estimated that it is hanging...

When writing the new book, I deliberately avoided these poisonous points and tried to increase the excitement. The protagonist is a gangster who traveled from the real world. He is not kind but righteous.

He has the three views of the real world. He is more realistic, so he is freer.

Of course, this kind of freedom is relative. Later, he will still be given a mission of a savior to reflect his sense of responsibility and increase his gold content.

However, he will never be as hard as Xiao Mian!

When writing "Xuan Xin Lu", I felt a little sorry for Xiao Mian...

In short, the new book is a more compact world, a more colorful cultivation world, a group of people with different personalities, surrounding the protagonist, telling an interesting story.
