Beneath Deep Space

Chapter 110 [Remarks on the Launch] I Hope You Will Join Me

This time, it is not an update, but a comment on the release of the book...

It seems to be a wonderful coincidence that it was released at such a high point. Perhaps, it can make my performance even better (+﹏+)~

Ahem, don't get me wrong, I didn't mean it, it was just a coincidence... Let's talk business~

It is now released. First of all, as usual, I would like to thank Dian Niang for providing the platform, thank the editors for their appreciation, and thank all the readers for their companionship along the way.

Time flies so fast. In a blink of an eye, "Under the Deep Space" has almost 290,000 words. It has been two months since September 1st. From 0 collections at the beginning, to 1, 100, and now more than 3,000...

Some friends discovered my book when it was tens of thousands of words, and have been following it until now. I am very grateful! I won't say much about the names, and welcome friends who join in halfway.

Tomorrow is November 1st, the day of release. I am a little nervous and a little uneasy. Well, actually, it is not necessary. For me who only has 3,000 collections, failure is an inevitable phenomenon.

Three thousand Yue soldiers can conquer Wu, but 3,000 collections is too small, so it can only be regarded as a failure...

However, failure can be good or bad. Some books are put on the shelves, but only one or two subscriptions are subscribed by pirated websites. How miserable it is.

However, some books fail in the early stage, but can rise in the later stage... Of course, I hope that I am in the latter situation, but this requires the joint efforts of me and all book friends.

If you like my book, please support the genuine version. It is only the price of one or two bottles of soda per month...

For a newcomer, signing is a threshold, and listing is another threshold.

90% of the newcomers fail at the threshold of signing, and 90% of the signed authors fail before listing, or in other words, the performance is too poor after listing, so they fail.

I was always in a stand-alone state for the first 100,000 words, but at that time, I was completely supported by the passion of opening a new book. Now, it has been two months, which is better than 99% of people.

I have to say that I am still lucky. There has always been a group of book friends who are active in book reviews, voting for me and rewarding me.

Because of your encouragement, I can persist until now. I hope that after the book is put on the shelves, you can still accompany me (full of gay love...)

Before writing this book, I also did a little research on the market environment. Science fiction novels have never had much market status and no prospects (money prospects).

Few people read it, and it is less popular, and even fewer people subscribe!

Of course, I mean serious science fiction novels. Looking at the entire science fiction page, most of them are infinite flow, Marvel and doomsday flow, and some weird fantasy articles. Occasionally, there are one or two science fiction books, and the performance is not very good.

This also indirectly confirms that serious science fiction is not read by many people, and no one writes it. Under the vicious cycle, it has become what it is now. The original science fiction masters have either quit, transformed, or just started publishing... This shows that this road is not easy to take.

So, this failure is basically my own fault.

However, I still like this kind of science fiction of the stars and the sea. I don't expect to write a magnificent masterpiece that will be remembered forever, nor do I expect this book to sweep the major charts and become a god with one book.

I am just an ordinary person, a science student, and I don't have much writing skills. I just want to express some wild ideas in my head through words. And when I am creating, I enjoy it myself, which is enough.

Of course, I have to have someone to read it, so that I will be more motivated to write. Maybe every author is like this... If no one appreciates the words I write, then there is no meaning in writing. (Except for diaries)

Now that it is on the shelves, the most concerned thing is, of course, subscription. Collection is virtual, only subscription is real, and the real performance of a book is measured by subscription, not collection.

I am not pessimistic. Listing a book has always been a loss of popularity, because it means charging. Many readers who do not have such consumption habits may leave.

It is very good if one person subscribes to a book out of ten collections. Some people are directly removed from the shelves, and most people turn to pirated books. This is the actual situation...

However, this is a world where performance is measured by subscriptions. Only when the subscription is high, will Dian Niang look at me with a higher regard, give me more recommendations, and attract more readers... Of course, I hope there will be more readers.

So I have been thinking, 3,000 collections, I wonder if there will be 100 subscriptions... If not, it would be too embarrassing, or I can open a small account to brush a few up? (T^T)

Of course, more than 100, 200, or 300 subscriptions will make me jump for joy! For better books, the subscription ratio is about 10:1. I wonder what my book is?

Although there are only 3,000 collections, if the subscription ratio is good, it can also prove that its quality is still good, right?

I won't say much about the issue of piracy. I just hope that everyone can subscribe to the genuine version to support me... After all, it is something I have worked hard on. More people's recognition will always bring me a greater sense of accomplishment.

My typing speed is very slow, two chapters a day, four or five thousand words, it takes about four or five hours to write, one thousand words an hour, I can be said to be a clumsy person.

Because this kind of article is not a routine article, there is no place to learn (copy), and it often requires a lot of information to write, which is both brain-burning and time-consuming. After each writing, I have to revise it several times before I am satisfied, and then send it up.

If this is the case, and no one reads it, it will be a big blow to an author. Many novices are like this.

Of course... Let me reveal a secret. I am definitely not a novice writer, so my psychological tolerance is relatively large...

As for the problem of eunuchs, don't think too much, write slowly, and you will always be able to finish it. I never expect to support myself with manuscript fees. A few hundred subscriptions are only a dozen yuan a day. If I really want to make money from this, I might as well go to work...

Unconsciously, I have written so much, and I feel a little scattered. Well, I am not good at this.

In short, I still hope that there will be more book friends to accompany me on the road of writing. Just subscribe to the genuine version, and it doesn’t matter if you give me rewards (rich people are willful, please feel free to do so).

I hope all friends can support me and let me have a good result, thank you!

Tonight's update will be moved to tomorrow, with a minimum of 4 updates, and 1 update for every 100 average subscriptions. This is the limit for clumsy people... God knows how much I have to delete and modify in a day!

(ps: The update time will be adjusted to: 12 noon and 8 pm in the future, usually two updates a day.)

(It has been almost two months, and I have never stopped updating for a day, at most I just update less... Please believe in my character.)

Let me add another paragraph:

The author who posted the book quickly hugged the reader who was about to leave: "Didn't you say you would always support me? I'm on the shelf, and I need your support!"

"Support you?" The reader smiled coldly: "That's because you are free! Who made you so greedy that you actually charged! Such an author is destined to be difficult to become popular, you should just go to the streets, and if you go to the streets, you will understand that free is the kingly way!"

"Yes!" Another reader echoed.

The author who posted the book recognized her as the junior high school girl who usually called him the author brother, with a sweet and sticky tone and cute and silly words.

"Don't you know how much you are worth... Many great authors give away a book for free to gain popularity. If your book is completely free, we will definitely support you for the next one." The junior high school girl sighed, "Brother Author, you betrayed us."

"That's right!" The elementary school student behind followed up, "I have been voting for you, a white-eyed wolf. I don't vote for many great authors. I give you all the 2 votes a day, and you actually charge? Can a novel that is linked to money still be a good novel? Don't even think about writing a good work in your life!"

"Didn't you often leave comments saying that I wrote well and must be a god?" The author asked unwillingly.

He didn't believe that this was a little reader who acted cute in the book review area all day long.

"Get lost! What the hell did you write? I only read it because it's free. If I had known you were going to charge, I wouldn't have read a single word!"

After that, the elementary school student called his friends: "Let's go... I found a new free novel. Although it's 200,000 words, it's estimated to cost 600,000 to put on the shelf. This time we have to persuade the author to write a book for free. Only in this way, when the novel is made into a TV series or a game, we will definitely support it!"

The free readers left in a mighty manner, leaving the author who put it on the shelf on his knees.
