The Crescent of the Sultan

Chapter 77: Remarks on the Launch

To be honest, this is my first time writing a book, signing a contract, and putting it on the shelves, so I don’t know what to say. Just take a look.

In fact, I started writing this novel purely because I read too much foreign history, and found that no one had ever written about the Ottoman Empire, so I had this idea.

At that time, I didn’t think about signing a contract, because it was my first time writing a book, and my level was not very good. To be honest, I was at a loss in terms of the grasp of the plot, the shaping of characters, and the style of writing.

Moreover, foreign history is a niche subject, and the Ottoman Empire is a niche among niches.

So I thought that not many people would read it at first, but the fact is that there are actually quite a few book friends. It has been about a month since the book was published. After four rounds of recommendations, it has also received 7,000 collections.

Here I want to emphasize my thanks to my editor, Shi Guang, who simply pulled me out of the water.

At the same time, I am also very grateful to all the book friends for their interest in this book and for being able to tolerate the author’s rough writing and some poisonous points.

Book friends have also recommended many foreign history articles to me, such as "The Holy Roman Empire" and "British Civil Servants".

I have read all these books. I remember that when I was a reader, I felt empty every time I finished following the updates.

I was wondering why the author only updated so little. He was such a waste.

It was not until I wrote my own book that I realized that this was indeed a bit difficult.

Because I don’t write very fast, it usually takes me three and a half hours to write two chapters, so I rarely update.

But this time it happened to be on the shelves. How should I put it? According to the subscription ratio of historical books, there will generally be a thousand first orders.

But I don’t have such a lofty goal. I will be thankful if I can get 800 first orders.

If I can get 1,000 first orders, I will add three chapters.

Subsequent update rules: After breaking 1,000, add one chapter for every 100 first orders.

At the same time, I would like to thank Zui Jianxian for his 5,000 reward. I will add one chapter.

As for the update, I will spend a day writing tomorrow. If there is an update and I haven’t finished it, I will make it up later.

Finally, see you at 12 o’clock tomorrow, which may be delayed by a few minutes.

If you have extra monthly tickets or recommendation tickets, you can drop them here. Thank you for your support.
