Warhammer 40,000: Mortal Gods

Thousand Chapters of Gratitude

Unconsciously, from the publication of the book in June and July last year to now, this book has been written to 2.28 million words.

Excluding the leave and the extra chapters, the main text is the 1007th chapter. Let me add a thousand chapters of gratitude today.

To be honest, when I started the book, I didn't expect that I could write for so long.

Some book friends think that this is not the first time I have written a book. In fact, it is not. I have written before, but I only wrote 20 or 30 chapters and then cut it off. I am just a three-minute enthusiasm because I don't like those topics.

But I still have the addiction to code and the desire to create. When I suddenly opened this book one day, my addiction to code and the topics I love collided with each other, like the fuel of a coding machine, driving me to keep writing until now.

The support of people who read my books is also indispensable, whether it is recommendation tickets, monthly tickets, comments, or messages posted in chapters, all of which helped me get through the beginning of this book.

When I see you playing with memes and discussing the plot, I will be very excited.

When I started writing this book, I was confused because I used to lose motivation after writing a short paragraph, and I didn’t know if anyone would read this topic, but it was everyone’s support that helped me get through that stage.

I feel like a climber, who started climbing this mountain just because of my interest in mountains. I don’t know if I can climb to the top of the mountain, and I don’t even have a very firm goal to climb to the top of the mountain, but everyone’s support has made me climb higher step by step, and now I have climbed to a height of more than two million words on this mountain.

I was on the mountainside called two million words and looked down, thinking, damn, if everyone hadn’t pushed me, I would definitely give up halfway.

In fact, although the protagonist I wrote is a person who is very good at communication, I, the author, is actually no different in character from the emperor tortured by Qin Mo. I can’t do the work in the company. I really don’t like and am not good at communicating with people, so I worked as a security guard, and later I stopped working as a security guard because of my medical treatment.

Because of this, I actually wanted to write a comment when I wrote one million words, but I gave up after holding it in for a long time, just like when I want to join in when I see everyone speaking in the group, and I want to say something when I see a message in the comment area, but I still close the input box in the end.

At the beginning of the month, I said that I would compete with a local author friend in coding, and the loser would buy a box of Castle Master for the winner. He couldn't hold on until the agreed end date, and successfully got a box of Castle Master. It happened that I spent a little more money to buy some other chess pieces.

I wanted to take a day off to paint well, but after thinking about it, I decided to forget it. After all, I took a lot of leave because of hemorrhoids and various minor illnesses before, which also brought shame to the name of the keyboard god. Now my body has recovered well, and I will not take leave unless it is necessary.

Finally,

Thank you for reading what I wrote.
