Chapter 292 Harvesting Wheat
"Naughty, your feet hurt again." Parker looked at Bai Qingqing's small feet with distress in his eyes.
Bai Qingqing stuck out her tongue, sat down by the river, and soaked her legs in the river.
Her ankle suddenly tightened, and she was so frightened that she immediately lifted her leg out. A thick snake with red spots on a black background was picked up and climbed up around its snow-white calves. It raised its round head and spat out a message to Bai Qingqing: "Hiss~"
Bai Qingqing smiled and shook her legs, "Come down, do you know you are very heavy now?"
"Hiss~" The little snake reluctantly gave up its body and sank into the water. Several snake heads popped up around it, swimming around Bai Qingqing.
Bai Qingqing laughed, looked at Parker and said, "You brought the little snake out too."
Parker poured some water on the whetstone and continued to polish it. "I saw that they were so hot that they stretched into a strip. I took them out when sharpening the stone blade."
Bai Qingqing couldn't help but think of Little Snake's father, Curtis. She looked back at the King's Castle and said worriedly: "Curtis seems to be uncomfortable and ignores me. I asked him to come down and soak in the water, but he didn't move."
Parker felt excited when he heard this. He tried to keep his expression calm and moved to Bai Qingqing's side. "Qingqing, don't worry. He is a four-striped beast and won't get sick. If he doesn't stay with you, I will stay with you."
Bai Qingqing teased the little snake with her feet and said, "I want to ask Harvey to show him."
Parker said: "What's the use of looking at it? If the male is sick, the vet can't do anything. Those mild herbs don't work very well on the male."
Bai Qingqing lowered her head helplessly. Parker washed the stone blade and said, "I'll carry you back. I'm going to the fields."
"I'll go too." Bai Qingqing stood up, and the little snake in the water immediately swam towards the shore.
Parker put the sharp stone blade on his waist, picked up Bai Qingqing horizontally, and rushed into the stone castle.
The little snakes followed and crawled into the sun. Their cold bodies pressed against the hot ground, making a "chichi" sound that sounded like a barbecue. The wet marks on the ground faded and disappeared at a speed visible to the naked eye.
By the time they swam back to the stone castle, all the water on their bodies had been dried up.
"Go inside quickly, it'll be cooler." Bai Qingqing said.
The little snake glanced towards their bedroom, then nudged Parker, "Hiss~"
Bai Qingqing laughed, glanced at Parker and said, "Obviously he is Curtis's child, why are you still clinging to you?"
Parker snorted, "You just want to play with me." After saying that, his golden eyes released the intimidation of an adult orc, and he turned to the little snake on the ground: "It's drying outside, don't follow me."
"Hiss~" The little snakes wilted their heads and slowly crawled towards the bedroom.
…
Parker covered Bai Qingqing with an animal skin and ran quickly to a tree near his field.
Under the scorching sun, the golden wheat fields were dazzlingly bright. A gust of wind blew by, and the wheat field stirred up golden waves, making a "swish" sound. Several groups of birds of different species circled above the wheat fields. A white tiger chased the birds in the sky and ran around, but they would always eat them.
There were no birds in the rice fields, so the orcs enlarged the area of the net, built a shed with wood, and covered it with a bark net so that no birds could fly in. They could just patrol as usual.
"Vinson!" Bai Qingqing jumped out of Parker's arms and shook her hand vigorously towards Bai Hu, "Thank you for your hard work!"
"Roar!" The white tiger jumped and killed two birds, then turned to look at Bai Qingqing.
