Secondly, although the 871KG shell is considered a heavy shell, if you want to specifically improve the horizontal penetration, then the heavier the shell, the better the horizontal penetration will be. Therefore, after slightly improving the amount of propellant, the weight of the new artillery shell was increased to 890KG. In this case, the trajectory is more curved and the horizontal penetration is improved.

After these two improvements, the new artillery shell can penetrate 50MM homogeneous armor and 25MM defensive back plate at 15 kilometers in the shooting range simulation. To a certain extent, it can basically be used to deal with the Fuso. Of course, after changing the shells, the gun table must be replaced and the training must be carried out again.
